- Joint GSI/WFJCSH Conference in November
- GSI is working together with the World Federation of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and Descendants (WFJCSHD) for a joint conference. This will be the 25th annual conference for the WFJCSH but it is the first for GSI. Please save the dates November 1 – 4, 2013 and plan on being with us at this “family” reunion in Henderson, Nevada (outside of Las Vegas). During the conference we will also commemorate the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht.

- Book/Film discussion
- Our thanks to Ari Roth, our April discussion guest. It was quite interesting to have a playwright talk about his work during the run of one of his plays.
- We turn our attention now to our May guest, Alicia Oltuski whose book, Precious Objects, was named a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection. Come join our discussion group and meet this talented grandchild of the survivor community.
